A first glimpse at Rachel Bilson’s new label

Rachel Bilson was spotted making a stop at the bank in LA back at the beginning of March, on the 6th, looking every bit as adorable as we’re used to seeing her.
Starting her outfit off with a pair of red Wayfarers (for another option, in case you are looking for a fresh change from the Wayfies (as I am), check out JeeVice Optic’s supercool Evil Sunglasses in Red, which come with peace signs along the side), Rachel slipped into a pair of basic black skinnies (like Deener’s High Waist Cigarette Jean in Tar).
Next up was a comfy cashmere sweater (I love the details on Autumn Cashmere’s Puff Sleeve Babydoll Top in Sawdust), perfectly offset by the finishing accessory touches: gold sandals and a black shawl (similar to Elizabeth Gillet Ltd’s Imelda Shawl in Black). As I’ve been saying lately, it seems like every young fashionista out there (not to mention Heidi Montag!) is getting her own fashion line, and Rachel is no exception. Rach’s label will launch through DKNY, and will be titled “Edie Rose.”
Named after her grandmother and close family friend, Rachel says, “I want people to see these clothes for what they are, not just another line designed by another celebrity. I want the line to be taken seriously…
I also want to show people that you don’t have to pay a million dollars for clothes that look good. For me, I love vintage clothes and I shop vintage all the time. It’s fun to play and put things together. You don’t have to spend a lot to get a great look.” What do you think- will her line be met with success?

Gisele Bundchen had a photo session at the beach in Malibu. The photographer, Mario Testino, directed her to wear a pair of torn denim shorts that showed a lot. Her shorts looked like thongs.
His was supposed to be Gisele’s first working assignment after her return from a holiday with her boyfriend tom Brady. The couple traveled to Costa Rica, Paris and Ibiza. Gisele spared no expenses for her trip since she was the world’s highest paid model. Her amassed fortune was valued at $150 M. She was paid to endorse around 20 brands from different countries.
Mario Testino’s work has always been acclaimed. This photo shoot combined many interesting elements together and promised to show some fantastic pictures.
